Tipping Barrels is the short film that inspired me to begin my journey in environmental journalism. The video combines inspiring and informational facts about the pipeline concerning the Great Bear Rainforest. Two surfers, Arran and Reid Jackson, show their adventures as they explore the rainforest. I think thats what clicked for me, the use of a two young hip guys doing a sport they love while also talking about the environmental issues. This is how to get the younger generations inspired. Show them something they like and mix in the facts.
