Sometimes boredom can foster creativity.
Today was one of those days where all I wanted to do was stay in my PJ's and watch Netflix all day long. But... that got boring quick so I decided to raid my mothers jewelry drawer and make some creations of my own! I have a passion and love for remaking old things to be new again, or what I like to call it "upscaling". Not only are you reusing and recycling your old clothes and jewelry, it's cheap too! I made a bunch of cute necklaces and bracelets...although my mom wasn't too happy when I used a necklace that had sentimental value. Oops!
A big cause of environmental problems in our society is capitalism's need for consumerism. In order for most business to increase profits, customers must consume the good or service repeatedly. A lot of companies have developed "environmentally friendly products" or "green products", however, any consumerism is damaging to the environment green or not. I do support green products in society for now, because people are not going to just stop consuming so they might as well consume products that are more environmentally conscious.
